Goodness I really love this painting. Its more impressive in person too.

I often take walks on the common and these birch trees often make an impressive sunset. Every tree is a different shade of greys and browns, all the little branches are graded in colour to form circular style of light patterns. And the Tops of the trees are more thickly painting in impasto while the base is a softer misty set of brush work colour. This painting has great balance and i've aimed at the rule of thirds to make a composition sing.

Would suit almost any room with its colouration.
