Sunsets are one of my favorite subject matters to paint! There is a fine line between realistic and abstract when painting a sunset. The process of painting, the thickness and fluidity of the paint, and the marks made by the brush are just as important as the subject matter.

I used both brushes and palette knives in this painting. I love the marks and well as the subtle color palette of this one.

This is framed in a lovely black and gold frame. It is ready to hang in your home!
