Sunset meadow
A sun kissed glow,
Peach sky,
Ethereal tree line,
Scarlet, crimson red, lavender blue,
A beautiful time of the year.
Words and feelings of my experiences of Summer meadows.
Original impressionist flowerscape on extra rough textured watercolour paper bockingford 425 gsm 200lb. I love the Summer and the countryside around the area of Tisbury in Wiltshire. This painting is inspired by the sunset colours and the radiance of the wild flowers they give to nature.
I used a wet on wet watercolour background and for the tree line. Then I dropped the colours on for the flowers. Then I pressed the paint on and created almost heart shaped poppies using a filbert and a sable haired brush.

Extra rough textured watercolour paper acid free cold pressed bockingford 425 gsm 200lb, Holbein watercolours, sable hair brush, filbert brush,
