Original artwork description:

I visited Portland, Oregon in the fall of 2018 for business and took some time to see friends who live there. While driving up the coast, I stopped in Lincoln City and took some photos and made some sketches in the evening as the sun was about to set. The beaches were much more vast than my home state of New Jersey and they were strewn with massive pieces of timber. Very few people were present or maybe the large size of the beach made it seem less crowded and quite peaceful.
