Original artwork description:

This Oil Pastel on Black Paper drawing was done “en plein air” on the banks of Lake Te Anau. It was drawn as the sun set after I had finished the Sailboat picture, but from a slightly different location. I always enjoy trying to capture the last rays of sunlight as the sky turns dark and night arrives. I love the feeling created by the contrast and impermanence of the changing light and dark colours that appear at this time of day.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
