Original artwork description:

This Acrylic on Black Paper piece was painted “en plein air” from a picnic bench outside the Gables Lakefront Motel, Lake Taupo, New Zealand after a day of hiking. This is the largest lake in the country and the mountains that can be seen in the background are Mount Ruapehu, the Volcano and Tongariro National Park that are featured in my other pictures. It was painted as the sun was setting and the warm colours of the sun were reflecting on the water. It was a clear sky with only a few clouds and it actually got quite cold by the time I was finishing this piece as the temperature drops quite a lot in the evening.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
