For centuries, the gondola was a major means of transportation and the most common watercraft within Venice.
Gondolas primary role today is to carry tourists on rides at fixed rates. There are approximately 400 licensed gondoliers in Venice and a similar number of boats, down from the thousands that travelled the canals centuries ago. However, they are now elegantly crafted, as opposed to the various types of homemade boats of the past.

All my artworks are photographed in natural light. I am striving to represent the colours and quality as best as I can. Nevertheless, screens can display colours differently and the actual piece may look slightly different from what you see on your screen.

Although I ship most of my art pieces flat (either in reinforced envelope or a box), some larger pieces could be shipped rolled in a tube. This is to ensure the contents are better protected during transit. Shipping by Registered Mail with tracking number.
