Original artwork description:

This is one of the series of paintings of Mill Hill Park sunsets. I have been observing sunsets there for a while, capturing the most striking ones in my paintings. During the pandemic local parks have become much more a community space, place for everyone, where people could meet friends outside, play sport and exercise, walk their dogs, have a picnic, or simply go out to have some fresh air and a change of scene. They are also places where we can find an incredible beauty on our doorstep, forever changing scenery presented by nature, at a time, where for many people there is a very limited opportunity for new sensory and visual experiences. If we observe and appreciate this beauty of the world in front of us, it would often lift our spirit, inspire us and make us happier.
