Original artwork description:

The painting for the interior "Sunset in Kamenets" was drawn from life during my plein-air cycling trip across western Ukraine.

The city of Kamyanets-Podilsky and the fortress inspired me a lot. The fortress is beautiful from all sides at different times of the day and night. Every day the beauty of the fortress was revealed to me in a new way and I painted it from all sides and in a different state of nature.

Especially beautiful in the evening, when her silhouette is beautifully carved against the background of the crimson sunset color of the sky. There is a certain mystery in the work, it was written quickly enough, because I wanted to capture this mysterious transitional state of nature from evening to night, and such states are the most interesting.

The work was painting by professional Italian watercolors Maimeri Blu on 100% cotton watercolor paper 300 g/m2, which guarantees the durability of the preservation of the work under proper storage conditions, decorated under glass.

Also on my page you can see other original paintings painted from life during my plein air travels in Italy, India, Georgia, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey. And also see my paintings with flowers and still lifes painted from nature.

All the funds raised from the sale of my paintings are used to make my dream of a mobile workshop based on a minibus come true. Now I travel the world on a bicycle, it is very exciting, but for greater productivity I need a minibus in which I will live, travel and paint.
