This semi-abstract canvas was made in acrylic using flat knives and a large brush.
The process of scratching, scraping, and brushing, highlights various effects of texture and thickness.
Black and grays are more or less dark depending on exposure to light. Blue is bright and brings depth.
By dint of scraping, the red background comes out in places.
This composition evokes a sunset in a dazzling sky, at nightfall.
The edges are painted black.
