"Sunset Dreams" has been painted at the coast while staying in Devon and is an expression of a peaceful seaside scene in the evening. I'm always inspired by the sea and the beautiful blues of the ocean. While in Devon it was a particularly hot spell and the sunsets were lovely, I hope to convey a feeling of tranquillity in this painting.

Painted in mixed media on a deep edged canvas "Sunset Dreams" is an original work of art and one of a kind. The painting is in acrylics and to create texture I have used some sand from the beach, which I mixed into the paint while I was working. The painting continues round the sides and is ready to hang.
