Original artwork description:

On the slope of the day, the tired last ray breaks through the foliage of the trees near the Botanical Garden. The last days of May and the heat in the daytime hours are no longer uncommon. Maybugs fly overhead as they emerge towards the setting sun. In Egyptian mythology, the May scarab beetle was revered as a sacred insect of the Sun gods and is considered a symbol of the creative power of the Sun, rebirth in the afterlife.
