This is a painted version of a purely chance encounter with an arresting image that I made as a print and have now rendered in oil paints. It is highly abstracted but reminds me of a solitary walk I made not so long ago.

The piece is painted using exceptional quality Old Holland and Winsor and Newton Artists' series oil paints and mediums with the highest ratings of permanence and light-fastness. Cool tones on the horizon blend into a warm sky illuminated by the setting sun.

The painting is on professional quality stretched canvas on a one inch wooden stretcher. It has clean painted edges and could be hung without a frame. It is signed on the reverse

The painting will be packaged following best-practice guidelines (please see Me at Work for an example of the packing process) and despatched by signed for and fully tracked and insured courier The painting comes with a certificate of authenticity.
