Sunset
I grew up between two oceans in Schleswig-Holstein in Germany. So I am always trying to be near the ocean. When I think of a new painting, my motive is often clear. I feel calmness and gratitude, when I am able to paint the ocean. I love the deep water, never known whats underneath, feeling the wind, seeing the pink blue sky, when the sunset sets in and smelling salt in the air.
Original acrylic painting on stretched canvas. The artwork isn´t framed.
29,5 cm x 42 cm x 1,8 cm / 11,65" x 16,55" x 0,71"
Signed in front.
Finished with varnish including UV protection. The sides are also painted, so you can hang up the painting directly.
