Original artwork description:

This is one of a series of paintings inspired by the coast around Whitby and Scarborough. I'm often amazed at the colour combinations that occur in nature. The bright orange and dark reds in this scene provided such a contrast to the cool, pale blues where the sea reflected the parts of the sky that remained untouched by the setting sun.

This painting is on a deep edge canvas, which looks great without a frame but you could frame it if you prefer.
