The beauty of the ephemeral becomes particularly evident with this spalted and partly weathered walnut wood. The wall sculpture is dried, without fungicides or exposure resin, treated with natural oils and sealed. The silky matt shine lets the wood shine again, just like the setting sun does the day. Two strips are screwed on the back so that the relief can be hung on a wall and appear full of its depth. The signet roko (Roland Köpfer) is carved on the lower right edge, the weight is 7.3 kilograms.
