A favorite dog walking spot of mine tends to be a quiet path down by the River Otter. This summer it was a real treat to see that an egret had obviously made its home nearby and could be seen most mornings wading in the slowly moving water. The glowing, pale-yellow light of sunrise reflecting off its snowy white feathers and through the tall, spindly figures of the teasels was something I had to capture in this piece.
