Original artwork description:

I painted this small sample to help with producing a much larger version.
I used standard artists professional oils and media. It is painted on panel and framed with a gilt wooden frame.
It is a scene that I see infrequently as I live on the other side of the island and mostly experience sunsets. I felt the colours of this particular sunrise were very varied and somehow (but I don’t know how) different to a sunset!
