I live in the suburbs and there is a nearby strip mall called The Grove because of the expansive grove that was once there. There is however still land behind the mall and if you look in the right direction you can still get a glance of what once was. I can do without the strip mall in my life and wanted to capture a sense of the past when it was not there.
