The painting for the interior "Sunny Sketch" was painted in dry pastel technique from nature in the city of Fethiye during my plein air travel in Turkey in the winter of 2021.
Going in search of a motive for creativity in the vicinity of the city of Fethiye in southern Turkey, I went to the peninsula from which a stunning view of the city panorama and mountains in the background, the sea with yachts and boats in the foreground opens.
In this plot, I was inspired by the composition of the picturesquely wriggling tree trunks and branches and the glare on the water behind them.
The format of the picture, excluding the design, is 50x35 cm.
The work is drawn with professional dry pastels on high quality French pastel paper from Canson.
