This is a small artwork which I painted from life using the alla prima technique. I admire the sunny color of lemon. It is alive, with green leaves, just plucked from the tree. The painting is sunny and joyful, written in an impressionistic style. Each brush stroke reflects the shape of the lemon and creates a unique texture.
