I created this painting in war times in Ukraine, under the bombing and howling of sirens.
The windows were tightly curtained, but I really wanted brightness and light.
The Sunflower, Ukrainian’s national flower and a symbol of resistance against the country’s invasion by Russian force. Sunflower has been flower of peace and become a worldwide symbol of solidarity.
This is oil painting on MDF board. I used palette knife to make large strokes to give energy and uniqueness to the painting.
Size: 9':12'
It is desirable to insert the painting into a frame that suits your interior.
