In this painting, I sought to capture the untamed spirit of the sea with its dramatic waves and ever-shifting moods. The intertwining of impressionism and realism in oil paints enhances the vibrant texture and depth, inviting the viewer to feel the crisp ocean spray and hear the roar of the waves. This artwork aims to evoke a sense of freedom and the perpetual motion of nature, symbolising life's turbulent yet beautiful journey. This painting serves as a vivid reminder of the strength and persistence inherent within us all, ideally bringing a dynamic, energetic presence into any home.

To create this painting I used various range of techniques- from an old traditional glazing/sfumato (gained its popularity in 16th-17th century) and blending to so much loved by impressionists impasto.

This painting would look great in any home décor style. It is ready to hang, can be framed or hung without a frame - this painting is extended over the edges of the deep gallery wrapped canvas, is wired, signed and dated by me.
