Sunny day over Lough Tay. Wicklow Ireland is a painting of one of the famous lakes in the Wicklow Mountains in Ireland..Lough Tay is said to have got its white sandy when the Guinness family brought sand and deposited it there on the shoreline to make the lake resemble a pint of Guinness in honour of their family brewing business...as the waters of the lake can be quite dark and from some angles looking down on the lake you could imagine it roughly looks like a pint glass!
This mixed media Drawing/Painting/study comes on acid free 340g watercolour paper... I used pencil, watercolour, wax pastels and pen to create this study..
This work comes presented in a sealed cellophane bag with a backing info sheet and makes a great present for any art lover
