Painting for the interior “Sunny Day. Greece” was painted from life during my cycling trip to Greece in 2021.

In the morning he went out into the open air and in search of a motive went down from his tent on a hill down to the city. This story immediately captivated me, I really liked the composition with white houses and red tiled roofs against the background of the beautiful blue color of the sea.

In the original, the color of the sea was calmer, but I wanted to enhance the contrast and paint the sea exactly the same color as I saw it yesterday. I did so and I managed to convey the impressions and emotions from the wonderful views of the city of Neos Marmaras in Greece, the Sithonia peninsula, the Halkidiki region.

I liked it so much that I decided to stay here longer while there is inspiration to draw, and then if I can go to the holy Mount Athos.

The work was painted by professional watercolors Maimeri Blu on 100% cotton watercolor paper 300 g/m2, which guarantees the durability of the preservation of the work under proper storage conditions, decorated under glass.
