Plein air painting. This picture was painted from life in Croatia, on a sultry day, when the colors of nature are the brightest and most saturated. The painting depicts a beach on the Croatian peninsula Orebic. From the shade of the pine trees one can see the incredible blue sea, mountains, white sand, bathed in sunshine.
