A view through trees to bright sunshine. A lovely detailed work in acrylic.

I really enjoyed painting this. I based it on a holiday photo I took in Kakadu, Northern Territory, Australia. A place of strong sunlight and contrasts.
The work is semi impressionistic, painted with many overlapping layers of dots. I like to paint this way, adding light over dark . However it does take quite a while as you have to let each layer dry before doing the next one.

The painting comes with a white mount and backboard. It is ready to frame. It takes a 16 x 20 inch frame which is a standard size. I have shown it in a black frame to show you how it could look when completed. The size quoted 51 x 41 cm includes the mount.
