Forest creeks like the one featured in this oil painting are common in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The artist snapped a reference photo for this painting on a morning hike and completed the painting from her studio in Pennsylvania.

This original painting was completed using professional grade oil paint on canvas and has a clear protective varnish seal. The concept of the painting continues around the side borders of the canvas so a frame is not required to display the painting. This painting is unframed. A wire mount is installed and the painting is ready to hang.
