The Ancient hardwood sections of the New Forest are a delightful place to be, especially on a day such as this when hazy sunlight permeates the green canopy. One can walk freely amongst the trees and Ponies, whilst the deer maintain a more cautious distance. A peaceful early Autumn scene in Mark Ash Wood, Hampshire, UK.

The photograph was made with on a 5x4 inch view camera with Fuji Velvia film. Camera movements were used to ensure maximum front to back sharpness in the picture.

Giclee print using Canon Lucia Pro Pigment inks on Heavyweight Fine Art matte paper
