This painting was inspired by Van Gogh - I've always loved drawing or painting sunflowers. I particular like painting them when their petals are beginning to droop. The shapes are very interesting and the colours are more subtle. It's a happy flower and I hope it makes people who look or buy these paintings enjoy the sun it brings. This painting is in oil with thickly applied paint. It is already framed with a white mount and silver frame. I can always un frame it and send just the stretched canvas which would be very reduced shipping. Contact me for details of this if you are interested.
