I painted this original oil from life, on my porch in Minneapolis. It features a bouquet of flowers in a spectrum of jewel tones: sunflowers in shades of gold and orange, and dahlias in golden yellow, red, orange, and burgundy. The flowers are accented by green eucalyptus leaves and a background painted in rich shades of cobalt blue.
