Original painting "Sunflowers" was created in Germany in October 2023.

The still life was painted from life.
On the outskirts of our town there are flowers, among which there is a decorative sunflower. Despite the fact that it is already mid-October, the weather is very warm and the flowers still delight with their bright colors.

I like to create still lifes that consist of the same plant in different states of its life.
The contrasting combination of bright yellow petals of a young flower with an already dry berry symbolizes the life cycle.

In all its forms, the plant is beautiful; its texture, details and rich shades not only convey a visually pleasant sensation, but also have its own subtext.
The combination of young leaves with large dense ones harmonizes with the small field herbs that I came across along the way.

This warm autumn scent will remain in my memory for a long time and will delight me during cold winter evenings. The painting will become a kind of source of warmth and sun in the interior of any home.

Also in the language of plants, sunflower means resilience, love of life, optimism, faith in the future, positive attitude, prosperity, luck and prosperity.
