This large oil painting still life is showing the contrasting colours of yellow, golds and different shades of greens. The Sunflowers draws your eye in then you see the lilies in a glass vase and then further into the room beyond. The tablecloth was bought at a French market and the colours blend with the Sunflowers. It is a very colourful painting full of detail and observations though a humble subject it is explored to the full. Clements has had her paintings exhibited in the Royal Academy Summer Show for several years running. And every year she shows in the Society of Women Artists Exhibition of which she is a member. This painting is ready to hang as it has the sides painted
