A golden yellow sunflower with double petals and a dark center. The flower is accented by pink and red celosia, a gomphrena/gumball flower at the top center, and purple statice. Painted from life in Minneapolis in oil on board with both palette knife and brush. The thickly textured paint compliments the shapes of the flower petals and the sunflower's center. Framed in a 3" wide wood frame with a mahogany colored finish. Framed dimensions: 18x18x1". May also purchased unframed by request. A richly textured piece with the warm colors of autumn.
