Portrait of a sunflower_x000D_ _x000D_ 16"x12" canvas_x000D_ A very tactile piece. The surface of the canvas was initially prepared with various texture pastes applied with a palette knife. In the subsequent stages, the painting developed making use of loose brush strokes. A few adjustments were made to the background in order to give the flower a bit of a lift. The edge of the canvas is painted. Initialed on front, full signature on the back of the canvas._x000D_ _x000D_ Painted using Golden and Winsor and Newton professional acrylic paints on a Loxley gold canvas. Sealed with UV varnish._x000D_ _x000D_ The edges are painted making it suitable for hanging without a frame. Fixtures are attached to the back making this item ready to hang.
