This oil was painted on a linen canvas. The first painting I made on this theme was awarded a prize in the Magné International Painting Festival and bought by the town . This one was made in the same place. It depicts in an impressionist way the leisurely atmosphere at the side of the river in Magné, a charming little village in the heart of the Poitevin marshland in Western France. A great attention has been paid to the reflections of the sky, buildings, trees and boats in the water.
