I painted the sliced nectarines on Saturday under artificial light, and had planned another subject for Sunday. However, I walked into my studio on Sunday morning to find glowing sunlight and I just *had* to paint that light. I had to capture the nectarines under the morning glow.

Since I was in the mood to play around a bit with the backgrounds, I chose light pink and a bright yellow sheet of paper. This painting is completed using a limited palette - just 4 colours including white :-) Done in an impressionistic style with loose and luscious brushstrokes, this painting will brighten up your kitchen or dining room.

The original painting is on stretched canvas, is ready to hang and ships unframed safely packaged in a cardboard box. . The sides of the canvas are painted too, it doesn't even need a frame! Write to me if you have any questions!
