Sun came bursting over the mountain
With rays dancing, flirting with man and nature
A boasting attitude
In glorious magnitude
Sun, I want to say
You are so welcome every day
You carry warmth and joy
Into the hearts of girl and boy
Your energy fill all hearts and minds
Stripping the sorrows and heartaches of mankind,
At least for a while
… everyone so fragile -
Sun, you bring courage
And hope to flourish
In spite of the threat of this invisible enemy
Sun, stay please,
For the summer at least
We need your warmth and strength
We need your jovial attitude
And accept all with gratitude
Sun we really do love you.
