A return to the popular series of my dramatic seascapes with this giant canvas.

This contemporary gallery wrapped presentation has the painted image extended around the sides of the deep profile stretcher. Framing is therefore not intended and the painting will stand out perfectly against the wall as it is. Supplied ready to hang.

The painting technique is intentionally quite loose to emphasise the energy and power of the waves together with the colours conveying a sense of brightness in the strong sunlight. Those of you familiar with this type of coastline will also know how the sea seems to roar with energy in these conditions.

Adding more to the description of the painting technique the result is totally representational, as with all my painting, so´realism´ fits. The twists, turns and sweeps of my brush work provide some impasto to the surface and an impression of the movement of the waves and spray although to be technically accurate that does not make it impressionistic. Sorry about the ´arty´ terminology!

First class materials have been used throughout this painting from the quality of the robust hardwood stretcher, the linen canvas to the pure pigment oil paint.

Shipping will be in a strong purpose built plywood crate to ensure safe transit. The shipping charges reflect the actual costs involved and please also be aware that for some non UK destinations there could be additional import taxes, around 5% usually.
