Majestic clouds sail the sky obscuring, for a time, the sun. Darkness, for a moment perhaps, descends but looking up will show the sun revealed, the dark cloud just a fleeting trick of the eye.
All the way over yonder, this lovely sky has a gentle softness and suggests a vast distance. Don't mind the dark mass in the painting; even in a light coloured room it reads as soft and luxurious, the bright sun complementing the darker tone.
