SUNSET OVER ALDI
It amazes me the beauty you can find in an everyday scene, a moment caught as you go about your day.
I had been reading 'Where the Crawdads Sing' by Delia Owens, about a girl growing up in the desolate marshes of North Carolina. When I walked to Aldi supermarket, past this swampy bit of land, next to a thunderous road by the way, I kept thinking of the book. The two places couldn’t be more different I know but each time I pass by I can’t get the vision of a swampy North Carolina and that wild eco warrior out of my head.
