Original artwork description:

This Acrylic on Brown Paper painting is one of two that were done early one morning during a visit to Sun Moon Lake in Nantou, Taiwan. It was painted “en plein air” just as the sun was rising from the balcony outside our room. It was a beautiful slightly misty morning and the distant mountains were barely visible through the haze. There was a magical bright glow to the morning mist from the dawning sun that I tried to capture. I wanted to leave the original paper border around the painted image to give the window effect of a print and because I like to show the contrast of the painting with the original surface of the brown paper.
A note to International Buyers:
Shipping rates have increased in price all around the world due to Covid and other complications. Due to this I have had to increase the the cost of shipping my artworks in line with the Delivery Companies. I will always strive to find the cheapest possible option for the customer (usually my local POST OFFICE EMS Recorded Delivery, but unfortunately they don’t deliver worldwide at the moment) If the amount of shipping charged at purchase is less than the shipping company charges then I will refund the difference to the customer. This refund will be done after the picture has arrived safely and has been accepted.
Any import duties, taxes and charges that may be payable are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges, if applicable, will be the responsibility of the buyer. Please message me to check if this might affect your purchase.
