Rich, textured greens anchor the lily pads, while accents of blush, crimson, and aqua rise like blossoms catching the sun.
When I was working on it, I kept imagining a vibrant summer afternoon by a pond, the sun hitting the lily pads just right.
I used thick palette knife strokes, soft greens, blush pinks, buttery creams and then dropped in bright bursts of red and teal flowers so the whole thing feels lively.
I even let some paint drip here and there to suggest stems and little ripples, like the water’s quietly shifting underneath.

The simple wood frame mirrors the palette’s warmth, making each peach and gold highlight shine.
Hang it up, and the room instantly feels calmer, warmer, and alive with quiet elegance.
