A bold and semi abstract painting of summertime.

This artwork is based on a sweeping English landscape. The brushstrokes reflect the flow of the land, revealing a quiet lake, nestled beyond a copse of trees in the foreground. The sky is bleached with the heat that falls upon the green fields below.
The lively colours of green, pink and white enhance the feeling of a bright summers day, whereas the dark greens contrast with the lighter colours to add depth and a feeling of space to this landscape.
