While painting on location recently, I fell in love with this scene and quickly set up my gear. I quickly began painting to capture the light effect I was seeing, with the top of the scene mostly in bright sunlight and the bottom and sides mostly in shade. I always try to capture the light effect of the actual scene and as I usually do, I pushed the colors from the local colors to colors that incorporate more intense reds, blues, purples, oranges, and yellows. I also used red violets, and yellow greens.

My materials include artist oils and a primed linen panel. The painting measures 8" x 10" or 20 x 25 centimeters. A professional camera was used to ensure the image is as close to the actual painting colors as I can get. I varnished the painting to protect and preserve the paint surface. A good quality frame was used with hanger wire attached so the painting will be ready to hang when you open the box. A narrow black frame was used to maximize the impact of the painting itself. I think you will be pleased.
