Artwork description:

This Summery linocut print was originally created a couple of years ago, but as life tends to do I became distracted with other work and forgot to finish printing the whole edition.
Here are a few newly made prints of Summer Skies, each slightly varying from the other due to the monotype background which I’ve coloured in different shades of blue.
Please be aware that because I hand press all my linocuts that there is slight embossing (indentations) on the surface of the thick cotton paper. These marks and colour variations are all part of what make handmade linoprints so special!

Materials used:

Somerset satin cotton paper 300gsm, oil based inks
