Having lived in the sub-tropics for many years and now in the UK, the memory of the tropical sea has come to be something like this painting to me. A magical place, full of magical memories. A place of peace, calm and tranquillity.

The piece is painted using exceptional quality Old Holland and Winsor and Newton Artists' series oil paints and mediums with the highest ratings of permanence and light-fastness on a household paint ground. The painting is on professional quality canvas panel by Belle Arti. The piece is 30cm by 30 cm.

There is a slight manufacturing fault affecting the top edge of the canvas at one point where there is a slight rise in the board of a few milimeters. This would be completely covered by the rebate of a frame and not visible. The painting would suit a contemporary block frame.

The piece will be packaged following best-practice guidelines and despatched by signed for and fully tracked courier. The painting is signed on the reverse and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
