Summer olive garden, 2017.
Using loose, sketch like strokes of a brush, I approached this painting in an abstract manner, putting the composition, dynamics and colour interaction ahead of the subject matter. I still tried to achieve the feeling and atmosphere of olive garden in the Summer Sun, with shadows very intense and sharp, and leaves playing with the light.
This painting is dispatched unframed and ready to hang.
