Deep in the summer night, the air is thick and the sounds increase; owls, frogs, crickets all chime for attention. There is a deep pine, cedar smell to the air and the flowers seem to dance by the moonlight. I painted this in awe of that deep summer night feeling. I wanted to capture a moment of celebration as nature cools off by the midnight breeze, the flowers seem to dance together in anticipation of sunrise....

The texture is very thick, buttery, and multi-directional to give it extra movement and body. The paint is shades of midnight blue meets purple, with pops of turquoise, lilac and orange.
