This is one of a series of bright watercolour paintings made in early August 2021.
I am inspired by the flowers and the trees in my garden; the latter are huge beech trees and although they block the evening sun, they are full of spirit and movement.
As soon as it is sunny, I take my paints outside. See photograph.
